Universal Commission Rules

Terms that apply to all Partner Network levels

1. No Self-Commission
Partners cannot earn commissions on their own account, their own employee accounts, companies they own or control, or related entities established primarily to generate commissions.
2. Net Revenue Basis
Commissions are calculated on actual net revenue collected by SMD, after applicable customer discounts, credits, refunds, chargebacks, taxes, and uncollected amounts.
3. Registered Attribution
A referral must be properly registered/attributed to the partner before the customer purchases.
4. One Partner of Record
A customer can have only one commission-eligible partner of record at any given time unless SMD approves a split arrangement.
5. Payment Timing
Commissions become payable only after SMD has successfully collected the customer's payment and any applicable refund/chargeback period has passed.
6. Status Requirement
Recurring commissions are payable only while the partner maintains the required active status, certification, or Enterprise Partner agreement.
7. No Retroactive Changes
A partner's commission rate changes prospectively. A later promotion to a higher partner level does not automatically change commissions on previously acquired customers.
